A Message From the Co-Presidents

Asalaamu Wa Alaykum Wa Rahmatallahi Wa Barakatahu,

Happy New Years and welcome back to campus! On Behalf of the Executive Board of the Muslim Students’ Association, we want to express our sincere excitement to have you back. Also, we look forward to organizing halaqas, khutbas, lectures, outings, and much more for your benefit and for the benefit of the Muslim Ummah on campus.

We strive to create an environment that promotes critical thought, unity, and closeness to Allah (swt).
In the past semester, we have reached numerous accomplishments from large scale service events such as Feed the Hungry to impactful awareness fundraisers such as Fast-A-Thon. Moreover, we have held numerous social events that promote camaraderie. With an executive board of thirteen deeply committed members, we have put in thousands of hours of planning over the past semester and are highly motivated to put forth that effort for the sake of Allah (swt) in the coming semester.

Despite all of these achievements, we are nothing without our general body. Whether you believe it or not, each of you has contributed to make the MSA into what it is today. Moreover, each of you has unique strengths and talents that we, as Co-Presidents, hope you will apply to MSA. Always come to us with any ideas, suggestions, or feedback. Always feel that you can implement an idea or program in the MSA. Always know that we welcome you regardless of your background or life experience. Always know that we are here for you.

JazakAllah Khair for your time. We look forward to seeing you and authentically getting to know you.

Wa Alaykum Asalaam
